Beecause

This is one of my favorite photos. I took this while out for a walk when I was back on the Island. Fall was starting to set in and the last of the summer gardens were in their final bloom. The bees were soaking up the remaining drops of nectar, and the waning warmth of summer. Click on Photo For Larger Image

Purple Burst

This is a close up of the center of a Dahlia (I think). If you click on the image you will get a larger image and you will see the real impact of the picture. It illustrates how the flower slowly unfolds over it's short life. Click on image for larger photo.

Nature's Porcelain

Who doesn't love a porcelain Berry? It reminds me of something but I can't think of what. I'm not sure if you can use this for anything other than decorative puprposes, but that's good enough for me. Click on picture to see larger image.

Pink Swirl

Again, this was the last of Nantucket's rose blooms before the winds of winter scatter everything. This was taken in late September yet I have seen these roses bloom as late as November! I think of June weddings when I see this photo. Click on picture for larger image.
